Announcement Of The XXI Meeting Of The Secretariat Of The Congress Of Leaders Of World And Traditional Religions

On October 11, 2023, the XXI anniversary meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will take place in Astana at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. The meeting will be chaired by Maulen Ashimbayev, the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and Head of the Secretariat of the Congress.

The agenda for the meeting includes an exchange of views on the outcomes of the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. Discussions will also focus on the Concept of Development of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions for 2023-2033.

Religious leaders representing Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, and Shintoism from countries including Egypt, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Israel, China, Mongolia, Japan, and India are expected to participate in the XXI meeting of the Secretariat.
