When asked who would be called the “King of PR” in the film industry, Vijay named Kartik Aaryan. The segment was meant to be light-hearted; however, the clip went viral and led to widespread discussion among netizens.

The clip gained traction on Reddit, where users debated the intent and tone of Vijay’s comment. While some viewed it as a subtle dig at Kartik Aaryan, others defended Vijay, saying it was made in a playful context.
A Reddit user backed the actor, stating, “Honestly, he is spot on with all the answers.” Another comment read, “I think being honest is not a crime, completely supporting Vijay Verma here!”
“He’s always been straightforward, unlike the over-curated images most stars push these days,” wrote another person in support of Vijay.
A person speaking in support of Kartik said that they have noticed a pattern of people taking a dig at the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor whenever the opportunity arises.
“Nope, there are many others who fit that title, and Kartik isn’t one of them. People never name the powerful ones for obvious reasons.
And yeah, I’ve seen this pattern a lot. Random people come on podcasts and take digs at KA for no reason, but have never seen Kartik do that to anyone. Must be tough dealing with such unnecessary allegations all the time,” the user wrote on Reddit.

I remember around 2016, everyone on the internet was praising Alia`s acting skills which made everyone believe in her exceptional acting talent. But of course Vijay Verma can`t afford to take their names and Kartik Aryan is a soft target with no influence in the industry.”
