Actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub has alleged that the makers of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Chauhaan used his voice in the teaser without his permission. The actor claimed that after he strongly objected to the alleged misuse, the teaser was revised and his voice was removed.

Sharing his side of the controversy on social media, Ayyub revealed that he had neither dubbed for the teaser nor granted consent for his voice to be used in the promotional material. According to the actor, he was surprised to discover that his voice had been featured in the teaser despite having no prior knowledge of it. He took to X and wrote, ” “Few weeks back, a film teaser released with the opening line in my voice. I wish to put on record that I am not part of the film in any capacity.”
Ayyub stated that he immediately raised the issue with the film’s team, questioning how his voice could be used without his approval. He described the incident as unacceptable and stressed that every actor has the right to decide how and where their voice or performance is used. Following his objection, the makers reportedly removed his voice from the teaser and released an updated version.

The actor thanked those who stood by him during the episode and said he hoped such incidents would not be repeated in the industry.
