Nearly two decades after Awarapan earned cult status, Emraan Hashmi is back as Shivam Pandit. The makers have finally dropped the trailer of Awarapan 2, offering a glimpse into a darker, more emotionally charged chapter that promises high-octane action, haunting music and a story driven by revenge and redemption.

The trailer opens by reintroducing Shivam Pandit, who returns carrying the emotional scars of his past. While the first film ended on a poignant note, the sequel hints that his journey is far from over. This time, Shivam is fuelled by vengeance, with every action sequence underscoring the consequences of his choices.
Emraan Hashmi reprises the iconic role with an older, battle-worn look, while Disha Patani joins the franchise as Zara, bringing a fresh emotional layer to the story. Veteran actor Shabana Azmi also makes a powerful impression as Nafisa, while the trailer introduces Puran Gabbi as Zorawar, Anirudh Rawal as Sikandar, Surendar Vicky as Jaideep, Vijayant Kohli as Mehmood and Atul Kumar as Samarth.

Like its predecessor, Awarapan 2 appears to rely heavily on its music to amplify the emotional narrative. The soundtrack has already generated buzz with songs like Ve Junoon, Yeh Awarapan sung by Arijit Singh and Toh Phir Aao, while the trailer prominently features Tera Mera Rishta, composed by Mithoon and sung by Saaj Bhatt and Subodhh Sharma.
