Actress Pooja Bedi recently opened up about the time she shot a passionate love-making scene with Aamir Khan back in the day. Pooja recalled how the intimate scene left her briefly wondering what to expect after the cameras stopped rolling when the two were locked in a room with each other.

During a recent conversation with Vickey Lalwani, Pooja was asked about the old rumours of romance between her and Aamir Khan. Pooja laughed off the rumour, saying, “You got to be kidding me.” She then went on to recall the incident where they shot a passionate and intimate sequence for the film Aatank Hi Aatank at a bungalow near Mumbai’s Film City.

She added that after completing the intimate sequence, she and Aamir were asked to wait together in a room which had a bed. The team shut the door, which made the situation awkward between the two. Pooja, being a young actress back then, shared how the situation made her nervous. “A million thoughts are going through your head,” she recalled, highlighting how stories she had heard about Bollywood made her wonder whether she should be worried.
After the team shut the door, she recalled how they both sat there silently in the room before Aamir, who was allegedly threatened by the Lawrence Bisnoi gang, eventually broke the ice.

Pooja recalled that the awkward silence ultimately ended in a way she had not expected. She shared that Aamir simply looked at her and asked, “Want to play chess?,” which instantly eased her worries. “Aamir, I’d love to play chess,” she replied.
Pooja says since the two often played chess together, Pooja happily agreed. Aamir then asked the production team for a chess set to be brought in. She admitted that it was then that she breathed a sigh of relief after the awkward situation.
Pooja, who recently slammed marriage rumours, even shared that the interaction left her relieved about the kind of co-star Aamir was. Calling him a “decent guy” and a “good man”, Pooja said, “He was not one of those dirty co-stars.”
