Sunita Ahuja has once again made headlines with her candid remarks amid ongoing speculation surrounding her marriage to actor Govinda. Her latest comment came after Govinda was spotted seeking blessings at Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja with his co-star and rumoured girlfriend Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Sunita Ahuja reacts to Govinda’s Lalbaugcha Raja visit
On Tuesday, Sunita visited the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha. Later that night, Govinda was seen at the same venue with Komal. The actor opted for a traditional white kurta-pyjama, while Komal was dressed in an ethnic outfit. The duo offered prayers and participated in the final aarti before leaving the pandal. Their appearance drew attention, particularly because Sunita had visited the pandal earlier that day.
The following morning, Sunita was spotted at the Mumbai airport. While interacting with paparazzi, she spoke about her pet dog Winter, who she said always comes to see her off. When asked about her bond with her pet, Sunita took an apparent dig at human relationships.

“Insaano ko jitna bhi pyaar do faida nahi hai, dhoka hie dete hai. Inko (pets) pyaar karo hamesha chipke rehte hai. Winter mujhe hamesha chhodhne aata hai. Insaano se achche toh janwar hote hai,” she said. She went on to add, “Janwaron se pyaar karo, insaano se nahi. Dhokebaaz hote hai insaan.”
While Sunita did not name Govinda or Komal in the airport interaction, her remarks came shortly after the actor’s appearance with Komal at Lalbaugcha Raja. The timing has led to renewed attention online amid the couple’s ongoing personal-life controversy.
All about their feud
The development comes weeks after reports surrounding Govinda and Sunita’s marriage intensified. Sunita and their son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, were previously photographed outside a family court in Mumbai. Govinda’s manager later confirmed that Sunita had visited the court to withdraw the divorce petition she had filed against the actor, although she has not publicly spoken about the matter in detail.
Meanwhile, the couple have also been seen celebrating Ganpati separately this year. During the festivities, Govinda returned to Mumbai and was seen with their children, Tina and Yashvardhan, while Sunita was not present.
Sunita has previously made claims about Govinda’s alleged relationship with Komal. In an earlier interaction with paparazzi, she referred to Govinda as a “sugar daddy” while commenting on his public appearances with the actress. Govinda and Komal are also associated with the upcoming film Roopa.
