About Mirzapur cast
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film brings back iconic characters of Mirzapur — Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), and marks the much-anticipated comeback of Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu), one of the franchise’s most loved characters. Now, for the first time ever, the cult saga of Mirzapur steps into cinemas, transforming its beloved world into an epic big-screen experience.
The ensemble cast also includes Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sonal Chauhan, Pramod Pathak, and Anangsha Biswas.
Set against the violent, power-hungry backdrop of Uttar Pradesh’s underworld, Mirzapur aims to capture the raw energy and intense clashes over crime, politics, and legacy that made the original series a cultural phenomenon.
The film was wrapped up on February 1. Announcing the shoot wrap on social media, actress Shweta Tripathi shared a picture of the clapperboard with the text, “Mirzapur: The Film Wrapped.” Ali Fazal also gave insight into his journey and wrote on social media, “YEH SILSILA lamba hai. It’s just a journey of some Love and some Hate. Mirzapur: The Film wraps its final schedule. Nani ki aawaaz mein Badayuni sa’ab ka ek sher haath lag gaya… yahaan uska hona laazim hai.”
