Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to welcome their second child. As the couple awaits the arrival of their bundle of joy, they were spotted visiting Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday, September 18, 2026. Notably, they kept thier ritual alive by visiting the temple before welcoming their little one.

On Friday, the couple was spotted seeking blessings of Lord Ganesha at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple. It seems like it has become a ritual for the couple to visit the temple before welcoming their child. For the unversed, back in 2024, before giving birth to their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, the couple visited the temple on September 6. The very next day, they announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram.

During their visit on September 18, Deepika was seen dressed in a yellow floral-printed kurta with an embroidered design around the neckline, paired with contrasting purple patiala pants and a tissue dupatta. She kept it traditional with jhumkas and a bun adorned with a gajra. On the other hand, Ranveer wore a purple kurta with gold embroidery and white pants.
The parents-to-be were accompanied by Ranveer’s parents, Anju and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani. The family was seen being escorted in and out of the temple by heavy security amid the crowd due to the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. If history is to repeat itself, fans can expect the news of Deepika and Ranveer’s baby number 2’s arrival within the next few days.
Notably, Ranveer was also seen visiting the Lalbaugcha Raja on Thursday, September 17, evening to seek blessings of the deity. Dressed in a white kurta and pyjama pants, the actor as seen greeting and interacting with fans from his car.

Back on April 19, 2026, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced their second pregnancy. The couple shared the good news via a social media post featuring their daughter, Dua. They posted a photo of Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. They captioned the post, “Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger!”
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Dua Padukone Singh, in September 2024, and are expecting their second baby in September 2026. A few days ago, they also shared adorable pictures from their maternity shoot.
