Actor Aadar Jain and his wife Alekha Advani have made their marriage official on paper by registering their marriage. The couple took to social media to share that they have registered their marriage in Mumbai on Wednesday, September 23. This comes almost 1.5 years after the couple celebrated their wedding with grand ceremonies in 2025

Aadar and Alekha shared the news of their marriage registration on social media by dropping a series of pictures along with a playful caption. “Trial period: OVER. No returns, no exchanges, no take-backs! Officially Mr and Mrs Jain! Finally made it legal with my favourite. Thank you, Ganpati Bappa, for blessing us,” they wrote.

In the pictures, Alekha wore a heavily embroidered red salwar suit, while Aadar complemented her in a maroon kurta with white pyjamas. The couple looked happy as they marked yet another milestone in their relationship.

Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani first tied the knot in a dreamy, Christian beachside wedding in Goa on January 12, 2025. Later, they followed up with a grand traditional Hindu ceremony held in Mumbai on February 21, 2025. Alekha looked stunning as a bride in a rich red velvet zardozi lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, while Aadar wore a pristine white and ivory sherwani.
Aadar had sparked a controversy during his mehendi ceremony when he spoke about his past relationship in his speech. Speaking about Alekha, he had said, “I have always loved her since then, and I have always wanted to be with her but never got a chance to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time pass. But at the end of the day it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream.” He added, “I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
Following the backlash, Aadar clarified that his comments had been misunderstood. He highlighted that he had referred to a “20-year” journey and had not said “four years.”
