The much-awaited teaser of Mirzapur: The Movie has finally been unveiled, giving fans their first look at the cinematic adaptation of one of India’s most popular crime dramas. After captivating audiences for years on streaming platforms, the gritty and action-packed world of Mirzapur is now set to make its big-screen debut with a theatrical release scheduled for September 4, 2026.

The film marks a significant milestone for the franchise, which first began its journey in 2018 with the launch of the hit web series. While staying true to the timeline and essence established in the original show, Mirzapur: The Movie promises to expand the universe with a new, untold chapter crafted specifically for cinema audiences. The teaser hints at high-stakes drama, power struggles, and intense action, all presented on a much larger scale than ever before.
Fan-favourite stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Divyenndu return to reprise their iconic roles, bringing back the characters that helped make the series a cultural phenomenon. One of the biggest surprises, however, is the inclusion of Jitendra Kumar as Bablu Pandit. The beloved character’s return has already sparked excitement among fans eager to see how his story unfolds in the film.
Adding further intrigue to the project is actor Ravi Kishan, who joins the Mirzapur universe in a significant new role.
