Their recent appearance on Koffee With Karan sparked online conversations about Vijay being a ‘red flag’ towards Rashmika. Now, the actor appears to have taken a dig at the discussion.

On his Instagram stories, Vijay re-shared a satirical video by influencer Anirudh Narayanam. Titled ‘Those Insta Psychologists Analysing the Show!’, the Reel features a woman criticising Deverakonda’s every move. From sitting on the right side of the couch to having a coffee cup by his side while Rashmika did not, to analysing the way he looked at her at certain moments, she criticises every detail. She goes on to describe the actor as narcissistic and patriarchal, calling him a ‘red flag’. He is even scrutinised for not following Rashmika on Instagram.

The video appeared to mirror the criticism Deverakonda has faced since his Koffee With Karan episode aired. However, the actor seemed amused by the satirical take on it. Re-sharing it with laughter emojis, he wrote, “Needs Subtitles. Regional Languages lo (In regional languages).” The reel was flooded with comments, with one user writing, “funny but i still get narcissistic-empath dynamic vibe from their relationship.” Some also joked about the influencer wearing a red T-shirt too, seemingly referring to the ‘red flag’ debate.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika got engaged secretly in October last year in Hyderabad and tied the knot in the presence of their close ones in February this year in Udaipur. The couple announced their wedding and relationship while reaching Hyderabad, despite the reports circulating much earlier. They did not reveal how long they were in a relationship before getting married, though speculations about the two have been surfacing for years now.
During their appearance on Koffee With Karan, Deverakonda revealed that Rashmika was the first to propose the marriage. However, he admitted to being hesitant and wanting to be certain of their relationship, which led him to make her ask 100 times over the span of a year before he agreed.
