Former Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi, who was last seen in Lock Upp, has opened up about allegedly facing a cyberbullying and stalking ordeal. The actress claimed that the ‘harassment’ has been going on for more than six years. On Tuesday, September 1, she took to social media to reveal details of the same, adding that the person behind it has also approached people from her professional circle. She also highlighted that it all started after her separation and divorce.

According to Mandana Karimi, the alleged stalker even contacted her producers and co-stars with defamatory messages and has also asked them for money. The actress also shared screenshots of the alleged emails, urging people who receive such messages not to engage with the sender.

Mandana addressed the matter through a series of videos on Instagram on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. She claimed that the cyberbullying and stalking episodes began after her separation from businessman Gaurav Gupta in 2021. She stated that it has continued despite her moving from India to Dubai.
Frustrated over the situation, Mandana said, “I am on a holiday, and it has happened again. I have had a cyberbullying case and a stalker for over 6 years since I got separated. An account messaged my producer and co-stars to make them aware of me and also asked them for money. It’s still happening. I don’t understand who hates me so much and wants me to have no work, money, or friends.”
The actress also alleged that she had previously hired someone to investigate the matter. According to her, she was told that a professional hacker had seemingly been paid to monitor her social media activity. She went on to alleged that people close to her have received emails from a fake account.
She also penned a long caption about the ordeal. “Enough is enough. For years, I have faced ongoing cyberbullying, harassment, and stalking from an unknown person who closely monitors my life and sends malicious emails to people I post or associate with—even after I moved from India to Dubai. I have previously filed multiple cybercrime complaints, and I am now speaking publicly and sharing the evidence. If you receive any email concerning me, please do not engage, send money, or believe its contents. Save it, take screenshots, and forward it to me. This is harassment, and I will no longer remain silent,” a part of the caption read.
Mandana Karimi’s marriage
Mandana Karimi was earlier married to Mumbai-based businessman, Gaurav Gupta. The couple reportedly dated for two years before getting engaged in July 2016. They later got married in a civil ceremony followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony in March 2017.
Shortly after her marriage, Mandana reportedly filed a domestic violence case against her husband and his family, which she later withdrew. The couple finally separated and eventually finalised their divorce in 2021.
