In the announcement video shared by Netflix and Samay jointly, the comedian, along with his friend Balraj Singh, revealed that the episodes will stream on Netflix and YouTube without any difference in duration, censorship, or days.

For those unversed, India’s Got Latent ended up in a massive controversy in February 2025 after Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija appeared as panellists. However, a remark by Allahbadia triggered widespread backlash for being insensitive and objectionable, following which FIRs were filed against Samay Raina, Ranveer and others involved.
Meanwhile, Samay Raina made a strong comeback after more than a year away from the public eye with his latest comedy special titled Still Alive in April 2026.
After more than a year of the controversy, Samay made his debut stand-up special, Still Alive, which crossed 53.4 million views on YouTube. He uploaded a 1-hour and 21-minute-long show, at the end of which, he officially announced that India’s Got Latent 2 was on the cards.
