Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has passed away. The director breathed his last on October 30, 2026. He was 57. mid-day learnt that Gupta reportedly suffered a fall in his bathroom, and following which he breathed his last.
Over the years, he became associated with gangster dramas. One of his most recognised films remains Kaante (2002), which he directed and produced. His other directorial credits included Dus Kahaniyaan, Acid Factory, Mumbai Saga among others.
